Every journey starts with a single bottle.

This was ours. The first wine we ever crafted, born from vines we planted with our own hands on Kentucky soil that wasn’t supposed to grow wine grapes at all. We chose Vidal Blanc because it’s resilient, cold-hardy, and stubborn enough to thrive where others said it couldn’t—qualities we understood intimately.

That first harvest felt like proof. Proof that vision matters. Proof that hard work pays off. Proof that sometimes the best things come from refusing to accept “impossible.”

We bottled it in blue—a nod to Kentucky skies and the clarity we were chasing. Crisp, refreshing, and honest, Vidal Blanc remains a family favorite not just because it was first, but because it still tastes like the moment we became winemakers.

Every sip is a beginning. Every bottle is a reminder that the best stories start when you plant something and believe.
